Late last night, well... early this morning rather, as I laid in my bed thinking random thoughts as I struggled to fall asleep, I thought about KT for a moment. I thought about the way things were in the beginning stages and how things quickly changed...as you all know, we've had our days that were just enough to make you wonder how things would be if he would only get himself together but for the other part of it, it was more than enough to make you just want to leave him alone. I know as for myself, last night before this thought, I was over Harvey's house with Whitney, and Maynard Collins and I guess these well educated niggas got off into some off the wall conversations about mates and the question was: on a scale one to ten, what are you and what would your mate be? Good Question right.

On a scale one to ten, I give myself a 5 because I'm half way to being where I need to be in order to be perfect for that man who is going to come into my life. But when that man comes into my life, rather now or later, I expect for him to be everything I am and more. I want you to be everything that I am not, and so forth. You know... somebody that I can be myself around and someone who we can be each other if needed because we know each others strengths and weaknesses and we are each other because together we are one. ... okay, enought with this deep shit...
